Текст: Shad Blair. Letter To Jesus.
Dear Jesus, how's it going me I guess I'm okay
I thought I might write you a letter about he going ons of today
Well you know they've made a movie about you. It made all the sinners confess all their sins
And I?m sure it made a whole lot of money but has Hollywood called you since then
I seen the devil on the side of the highway wearing a smile and floppy red shoes
And he was surrounded by a bunch of fat kids his golden arches they gave me the blues
Tell Sam Walton that he's still making money and I'm sure he wasn't a man of much greed
But while you're chatting with old Sam Jesus ask him how much money does a dead man really need
You know Jesus we really need you a little more everyday
So look down on us from time to time and don't ever turn away
I heard gas was three bucks a gallon I read in California it was four
And I don't mean to bring you down Jesus but did I mention that there is a war
Well Jesus I'd better be going yeah it looks like it's gonna rain This old cardboard roof will go to leaking but who am I to complain
(Thanks to Shad for these lyrics)
